make a Pull Request why don't you!

I always hear from friends and family in the diaspora "what's going on over there?" ... "how do those Israelis always stay two steps ahead? how do you have time to learn so much?". There's no magic to it of course! We make learning a priority, figure out what the economy will need us to be able to do, and we commit the time to practicing it. What Code Israel changes about this equation is the direct connection we make to show off what we're learning; Because we write all our code Open Source, our donors and our students are always in the loop.

What keeps us committed and fulfilled is the interest and engagement of our community. Anyone can sign up to a coding bootcamp and coast their way through without really having an impression made; To be able to find deeper value in lessons - to see a future as a professional and a role model - students need positive and encouraging feedback from everyone in their life, including family still in the diaspora.

The only way our students will really graduate is when you can see what work they can do.

Partnerships

The Code Israel Initiative is a Registered Amutah (charitable foundation) in Israel. We are able to accept donations (monetary, material, and in-kind support) within the applicable tax laws. We are actively pursuing partnerships with hi-tech companies, coding bootcamps, and community learning centers around the country.

Host an Event

Are you a tech company? Do you run an event space in the periphery? Are you a community organizer in search of teachers with technical expertise to instruct your class? Please contact us below - whatever you write will be emailed directly to our events coordinator!

Over the years, our graduates have landed jobs at: Autodesk, ELTA (IAI), Amazon Web Services, Freesbe, Intervyo, Wisconsin Dells Tourism Authority, Thomson Reuters, and many many more startups in exciting fields such as AI, Smart City Technology, Tourism, and more. Partnering (by hosting events) is the best way to recruit our students and teachers - who are the next wave of talent - before their price goes way up!
